Mr. Pintel leads the company since December 2008 as an incubator company under Maayan ventures, Omer. In the last two years he was involved in implanted CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) innovative startup company as its active director.

In his previous position (2006-2008) served as Director of product management, at Ornim Medical & was in charge of marketing directives, product release, detailing product specification and definition.

Prior to that position served as the VP R&D (2003-2006, ODF medical) of medical Omni directional imaging technology startup, developing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopes. On that position he was in charge for the marketing strategy, potential competitors, business plan as well as product specification & development includes building up the business setup with potential alliance & investors.

Prior to ODF medical he served as the R&D manager (2001-2003, SURGIVISION Medical) of a medical imaging technology startup, developing stereoscopy neurosurgical microscope. The system served as the platform of all digital devices such as navigation system, MRI, vital signs etc. The system was approved by the CE and FDA. Prior to SURGIVISION he served several years in the Israeli Defense Force as the head of various R&D projects and as a manufacturing manager (1989-2000).

Mr. Pintel holds B.Sc. in mechanical engineering specialized in robotics and M.Ac, in mechanical engineering (both from the Technion Institute of Science) as well as MBA.

Mr. Dayan served 19 years (1988-2007) as an officer (Lieutenant-Colonel) in the Technology Branch of the Israeli Defense Force as the head of various R&D projects. As a system engineer Mr. Dayan expertise in developing integrated technological systems including mechanic & electronic components, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, servo systems, air filtering systems, Internal combustion engines with electronic & computer control systems and as the system architect of automatic & computerized simulators. Furthermore Moshe was in charge for all subcontractors contracts and other business setups (Israel and abroad) that took care for these projects.

Mr. Dayan holds B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the Technion Institute of Science, as well as MBA.

Dr. Muriel Zohar brings to LunGuard a diverse and broad experience spanning R&D, Marketing, Business Development and financial expertise in therapeutic drug and medical device development. Most recently, she is consulting for leading biotechnology management and investment groups and individual companies in Israel and abroad sourcing and screening product opportunities, conducting due diligence, serving on company boards, and negotiating terms and definitive agreements for investment or licensing activities. 

For several years, she served as VP for business development at Ofer Hi Tech, the corporate venture arm of the Ofer group, investing in the healthcare sector in Israel.  Dr. Zohar was leading business development activities for the fund including networking industry and financial partners, as well as assisting young portfolio companies in strategic planning, financing and management, and leading new investment due diligence for biotechnology, and medical technology (device) companies. Prior to joining the investment community, she gained extensive R&D, operational and global business development experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries as she has served in various executive positions at Bio-Technology General (BTG), a multi-national biotechnology company.

She was promoted within the company from senior research manager to eventually become the Director of global research alliances, where she led the strategic business planning of the company’s pipeline portfolio and early stage licensing activities. Her scientific experience includes an accomplished career as a scientist in both basic and translational research. She holds a doctoral degree in biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel and has completed postdoctoral training in molecular oncology at the National Institutes of Health as a distinguished IRTA fellow. Dr. Zohar has received several awards for academic excellence and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. In addition, she completed an MBA degree from Bar Ilan University, Israel.
