Dr. Zilberstein serves as a CTO at Maayan Ventures and as a CEO of Rotem Ventures - General Management of Rotem ventures, portfolio companies. Overseeing management responsibilities over all the incubator activities. Director at the board of directors of numerous portfolio companies of Maayan and Rotem ventures.

Prior to joining Maayan Ventures, Dr. Zilberstein served as a CTO of a number of bio- medical companies and director for technological incubators. Dr. Zilberstein holds a Bachelor’s degree in biophysical chemistry from Ben-Gurion University, a Master’s degree, cum laude, in Chemical Physics and Ph.D. in Life Sciences from the Feinberg Graduate School of the Weitzman Institute of Science.

Mr. Akunis brings extensive experience in strategic planning, investment banking and over ten years of managerial in high-growth ventures. He is the co-founder and ex-CEO of Exerflow Ltd., a medical start-up company. Prior to that, He was Venture Partner and Deputy General Manger in Atid Ventures which focused on investment in Medical devices start-up companies. Mr. Akunis also served as Investment Banker in Meitav corporate finance Ltd., and led private placement deals and has been involved in IPOs in the Israeli Stock-Exchange.

Mr. Akunis has also vast experience been acted as aboard member in several entities which related to the medical filed. Mr. Akunis began is acquaintance with the Life – Sciences sectors 12 years ago while he served as the Director of the Medical Devices, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Department in the Israeli Export Institute. Mr. Akunis is a lawyer and a member of the Israeli Bar. He holds a BA in Psychology from Tel-Aviv University and LL.M degree in corporate Law from Bar-Ilan University.

Mr. Dayan served 19 years (1988-2007) as an officer (Lieutenant-Colonel) in the Technology Branch of the Israeli Defense Force as the head of various R&D projects. As a system engineer Mr. Dayan expertise in developing integrated technological systems including mechanic & electronic components, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, servo systems, air filtering systems, Internal combustion engines with electronic & computer control systems and as the system architect of automatic & computerized simulators. Furthermore Moshe was in charge for all subcontractors contracts and other business setups (Israel and abroad) that took care for these projects.

Mr. Dayan holds B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the Technion Institute of Science, as well as MBA.
